Lubartów is a small town in the Lublin voivodship 25 km north of the regional capital Lublin.

By bus

Buses to Lubartów leave from the Main Bus Terminal in Lublin - and the private buses from bus stops at the Ruska St. nearby. To get to Kozłówka Palace, however, you need to take a bus towards Michów, Michałówka or Zofian.

By car

From Lublin: take national road 19 towards Białystok.

From Warsaw: take the expressway S17 towards Lublin, turn off onto the national road 48 towards Kock and at Kock junction turn onto national road 19 towards Lublin.

By train

From Warsaw: Intercity trains go twice a day from Warsaw East station and stop on Lubartów main station.

From Lublin: Intercity trains go twice a day from Lublin main station to Lubartów main station. A regional train service is also available multiple times per day stopping at local stations along the way.

  • 1 Zamoyski Palace in Kozłówka (Pałac Zamoyskich w Kozłowce) (take the road towards Kamionka; the palace will be on the left). A well-preserved palace and garden of the Zamoyski noble family. It is possible to tour the interiors and the coach stable. Additionally, there is a small Socrealism Art Museum displaying various art works from the era.   • 2 St. Annes Basilica, 6 Juliusza Słowackiego street. An 18th century Baroque basilica, with well—preserved interior ornaments and paintings.   • 3 Sanguszko Palace and city park, 8 Juliusza Słowackiego street. The Sanguszko Palace complex is complemented by a brick palace from the 18th century, a palace gate, a park and a pond behind the palace.
