Patonga is a small, somewhat isolated and relatively far-flung tranquil village community north of Sydney on the northern shores of the large inlet known as Broken Bay. Patonga Beach is the southern-most beach on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Sheltered with a small bay, Patonga has a quiet family beach with calm water most days. Great for kids, for non-surf beach swimming and for fishing.
- Enjoy a walk along the quiet beach at Patonga
- Consider taking a bush walk in the hills around the small community, blending into the National Park
There is a great fish and chip shop right on the beach front that is always a popular place to eat, especially on the weekends! A small corner-store exists to purchase milk, papers and many other packaged things.
Most visitors to Patonga plan to stay at a rented beach house (check a local estate agency?) or stay at one of the two local camping and caravanning sites (with confusingly similar names!):
