Talk:Sutherland (Nebraska)

Disambiguation
[edit]There appear to be quite a few Sutherlands in the world - at this time, this is the direct one, and the others go through disambiguation. Is there something about this Sutherland that makes it a primary tourist destination above the others? Admittedly this is the most developed article at the moment. Wikipedia points directly to Scotland, and others have to disambiguate. What is the consensus? --(WT-en) Inas 23:28, 25 September 2008 (EDT)
- I don't see anything in this article that indicates that this place is more significant than all the other Sutherlands. In Project:Article naming conventions#Disambiguation rule 4, it would appear to me that, where there's more than one place with the same name, it should be left undisambiguated only if one is so much more famous than the others. So, I would interpret that as indicating that this page should be at Sutherland (Nebraska) and there should be a disambiguation page here, and I think that's a good idea.
