Do[edit]

Buy[edit]

  • 1 Gekås, Danska vägen 13, Ullared. A big-box discount store, the largest of its kind in the Nordic countries. Gekås has its own reality show on Swedish TV called Ullared, which makes most people think that the store is called Ullared (the name of the village that Gekås has outgrown).
  • 2 SIA Ice Cream store (SIA Glassbutik och Glassbar), Stenlösvägen 33, Slöinge, +46 346-71 51 00. SIA is a major ice cream parlour in Sweden and here at their factory in the small town of Slöinge they have a large shop where all flavors are sold. It also includes a section where factory seconds, which of course still are delicious, are sold very cheaply.

Eat[edit]

  • Gustav Bratt (in the centre). Steaks fish, nice settings.
  • 1 Laxbutiken, European route E6, exit 49 (Heberg), +4634651110, . Daily 10:00-19:00. Restaurant and shop specialised in salmon. Warm or cold and take-away.
  • Pomodoro (in the centre). Italian Restaurant.
  • Prostens pizza (in the countryside, close to the centre). Roman style pizza. Great location outdoor during season.
