This is an essay. (note that this essay is not complete: Still working on it.)

While I was reviewing flickr file tagged for review (as an license-reviewer before being administrator, and now as an administrator on Commons), I saw lots of files based on flickr file, cropped for banner, and improperly sourced, so improperly tagged as NO SOURCE. Most of you use only {{Cropped}}(Commons template) or {{Derived from}}(Commons template). Like [1]

Because there is no flickr link in |source= parameter, commons' flickr review bot (named FlickreviewR) always fails to confirm this file, and needs additional work. You have to make like this: [2], so reviewer can review it.

Sometimes, you source file like [3]. You should also avoid to do so, and do like this, so reviewer can review it.

This reduces redundant works, and I and reviewer can spend less time on this reviewing, and spend more time for find copyright violations, close deletion requests, and etc.
