For whomever it may concern, I'm an autistic wiki editor of the female sex; regarding pronouns, I have no special preferences.

I love the Wikivoyage community, but it seems too hostile towards new religious movements, like the True Buddha School for example, for its own good.

As a religiological geek, I don't take seriously the camp against "cults/sects" (used as a term of abuse against unpopular religious movements), because for one thing, inter alia, the term "criminal religious movement" is a more accurate and useful category than the category "cults/sects" could ever be. Furthermore, one idea regarding new religious movements is a library featuring books of Chinese and other new religious movements and books by religiologists (or sociologists of religion). Would you visit such a library? What would you rather do and where would you rather be, whether online or offline?
