I-65 runs on the east side of the city. Exit-243 serves Crown Point. From here North US-231 enters the Crown Point.
By Bus[edit]
From Gary Route 17 of the Gary Public Transportation Corporation's commuter bus can be taken to the Lake County Government Complex on the northside of Crown Point.
Get around[edit]
Downtown Crown Point is best traveled by foot. A car is best used to extensively explore the city. Crown Point has a trolley that it uses for transporting people during the summertime around the city. This service is provided most noticeably during special events.
