Get around

[edit]

See

[edit]
  • 1 Emi Koussi (إيمي_كوسي). 24/7. A massive shield volcano, Emi Koussi is the tallest mountain in Chad and in the entire Sahara, its summit towering 3 km above the surrounding sandstone plains. Although its last eruption was over a million years ago, there is still plenty of volcanic activity such as fumaroles and hot springs in the area. It's recommended to get an experienced tour guide, because the massive volcano has a diameter of 80 km, and every navigation mistake will set you back a few hours. Free.
