Lost Hills is a town in Kern County in the San Joaquin Valley of California, United States. Located near Interstate 5, it is one of a few places on this part of the freeway that have gas, food or lodging.

On SR-46 just west of Interstate 5. Lost Hills is approximately 45 miles northwest of Bakersfield, 145 miles north of Los Angeles, and 240 miles south of Sacramento and San Francisco.
