Noshiro
Noshiro (能代市; Noshiro-shi) is a city in northwest Akita prefecture.

Noshiro is on the coast in northwest Akita. To the north are Happo and Fujisato. Kita Akita lies to the east. South of Noshiro are Mitane and Kamikoani.

- 1 Noshiro City General Gymnasium (能代市総合体育館; noshiro sōgō taiikukan), Ōmachi 9-53, ☏ +81 185-54-3607. This large gymnasium hosts a variety of sporting events, for both participants and spectators. In the past, it has held professional basketball games.
