Roncesvalles is in Navarra, Spain. It's the first city on the Spanish side of the Camino Frances of the Way of St. James.

Roncesvalles is a small settlement with an important history and reputation. With only 20 residents, it is the most commonly serves as the first night stop on the Camino Frances of the Way of Saint James for those that started from the very popular starting point in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on the French side, or as the starting point for the Camino (mostly for Spanish people).
