The Sundarbans are the world's largest mangrove forest, in Bengal on the coast of the Ganges Delta by the Bay of Bengal. The region is the main habitat of the Bengal tiger.
Designated as a biosphere reserve, the Sundarbans region crosses the India-Bangladesh border and is covered in two articles, each covering a UNESCO World Heritage Site:
