Wassenaar[dead link] is a town in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. Wassenaar is the richest municipality in the Netherlands, and is attractive as a residence for the wealthy with many grand villas. The private residence of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, his wife, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, and their daughters is located there.

Wassenaar is about 10 km (6.2 mi) from The Hague and 51 km (32 mi) from Amsterdam. It is easily accessible via the N44/A44.

Get around[edit]

EBS runs 2 buses from The Hague Central station. Take either bus 43 or 44 to get to and from Wassenaar. Bus line 46 from Voorschoten.
