Mt Field National Park is a national park in Tasmania. The park is home to Russell Falls.

• Russell Falls. Tasmania's most famous series of waterfalls, in a lush rainforest setting.

This is a relatively easy walk and the scenery is very attractive. The walk begins at the information center. Parking is available.

• Lake Dobson. Follow Lake Dobson Road as it climbs 800 metres up, and walk the Lake Dobson circuit. A short walk by a charming lake, with some magnificent views of Mt Field, and, perhaps, some snow. (updated Oct 2017)
• Tall Trees Walk. A short drive from the Park Entrance, enjoy a short walk past the Eucalyptus Regnans, the swamp gum - and one of the tallest trees in Australia. Enjoy some incredible views of these tall trees. (updated Oct 2017)

Buy

There is an information center where tourists can park and food, drink and souvenirs can be purchased. Camping facilities are also available. A national parks pass will be required for vehicle entry, and costs around $20 for a day pass. There is an after-hours facility to purchase these passes if the visitor center is closed. Russell Falls is 10 minutes away from the center.
