Pandalam is a municipal town in Pathanamthitta.

Pandalam is the land blessed by Lord Ayyappa where his childhood days are spent as the son of Pandalam King.

Pandalam is 101 km north of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, and 120 km south of Kochi the state's commercial capital.

By bus

You can reach Pandalam by bus through MC Road. KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) is conducting the services, if you are coming from either Thiruvananthapuram or Kochi airports. Private buses ply to various destinations around Pandalam. Buses ply to nearby Thaluk headquarters in Adoor.

  • Valiyakoikkal Shree Dharma Shasta Temple. Here, you can see the gold ornaments which are supposed to be worn by Lord Ayyappa. Entry is restricted to Hindus.
