Tuba City is the largest settlement on the Arizona side of the Navajo Nation. There is little to detain the traveler, but it makes a good refueling stop on the way from Monument Valley to the Grand Canyon.

- See some of the most well preserved dinosaur tracks going west on your way out of Tuba City.

Buy
- 1 Tuba Trading Post, 10 N. Main St, ☏ +1 928 283-5441. Far and away the biggest shop in Tuba, this shop dates back to 1905 and has a wide, well-presented selection of souvenirs from the area, including authentic Indian crafts. Tucked away in the back is a small grocery store for the locals.
Eat
- Hogan Restaurant (At the Quality Inn). Casual food. Price and quality quite OK. No real other choices unfortunately.
- Tuuve Cafe and Gas Station. Sandwiches, soups, burgers, salads and similar all-American fare. It's not much to get to excited about. $7-12.
- Sze Chuan Restaurant, Highway 160. Chinese food options.
Drink
As Tuba is located within the reservation, it's a dry town, with no alcohol available.
