From Jaipur, catch a bus to Sikandra (₹20, 1 and a half hours), and then hire a jeep for the 10 km ride to Abhaneri (est. ₹250 return).

  • 1 Chand Baori. Abhaneri is known for having this amazing step-well, which is 20m deep and has roughly 11 levels of steps. ₹300 for foreigners as of February 2020.
  • 2 Harshat Mata Temple. A temple belonging to the 9th century. The four-armed deity Harasiddhi is locally called Harshat Mata. A fair (mela) is held near the temple in the month of Chaitra (March–April) every year.
