Nowy Sacz is a historic town in Małopolskie Province, in the Beskid mountains of southern Poland.

By bus

Buses from Kraków are frequent and take 2 hours to Nowy Sącz; tickets cost 14 zł. Most services are operated by Szwagropol.

By train

Trains from Kraków depart every two hours and take three and a half hours to get to Nowy Sącz. Tickets from Kraków cost 15 zł. From Tarnów the journey takes two hours and costs 10 zł.

1 Nowy Sącz railway station is two km south of the historic centre.
