Gondik is a small village near Aqre, in Iraqi Kurdistan.

15 km from Aqre. Return taxi from Duhok should cost no more than 40,000 dinars. Journey takes approx. 1,5 hour.

  • The engravings of Gondik cave (The cave is located on the top of the hill behind the village). Carved scenes in stone, including a number of animals and a sitting man. They have been dated to the third millennium B.C.
