Europe > Central Europe > Austria > Styria > Thermenland

(Steirisches) Thermenland is in Styria. To the east of the Thermenland the Termenwelt is located in Burgenland. Both offer great spas.

Understand

[edit]

The hot springs of Styria have a long tradition, and have become really popular. You can get everything a beauty spa could possibly offer.

Get in

[edit]

Usually you will get to the region either from Graz or Vienna. Buses and Trains operate to all of the spas. However you may have to change your transportation vehicle a few times.

  • Riegersburg has a beautiful castle on top of an old volcano. It's one of the few castle that withheld all attacks from the turcs.
  • Bad Radkersburg has an old armory house (Zeughaus), while the one in Graz is by far bigger, it's too worth a visit.
