Mora is a town in Northeast New Mexico. Its proximity to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains makes it a useful base of operations for hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.

The nearest city with major commercial air service is Albuquerque, about 150 miles to the south. To drive to Mora from Albuquerque, follow I-25 to Las Vegas (New Mexico), then turn north on NM 65. This road can be difficult going in the winter.
