45.72-120.81Maryhill Loops Road. This road, owned by the Museum of Art, is open publicly for non-motorized traffic. While it is best known among downhill skateboarders for its steepness, smooth pavement, and lack of traffic, it is also popular for cycling and roller skating. Walking along the road, with its steep grade and many curves, offers a workout and excellent views of the Columbia River Gorge. Watch out for people coming down the hill, however, as skateboarders have reported speeds in excess of 50mph.
