Carson is a town in Western North Dakota. It has a population of about 319 people and an area of 4 square miles. Altitude is 2,305 feet.

In the wide open areas of western ND, population density is very low, and Carson is no exception. Though it is the county seat. This area is more normally visited by hunters and fishers rather than sightseers.

From exit 110 on I-94, take state highway 49 south for 32 miles then head east on state highway 21 for 14 miles.

By plane

Elgin Municipal Airport is 14 miles to the west of Carson near the junction of highways 49 and 21.
