Nurabad is an Iranian city, located high in the mountainous area of northwest Lorestan. It is home to some 13,000 (2016) people, and is the capital of its district.

This city is one of the highest cities in Iran with an altitude of more than 2,000 meters above sea level. Winters can be very cold at these heights.
