North America > United States of America > South (United States of America) > Mississippi > Gulf Coast (Mississippi) > Pascagoula (Mississippi)

Pascagoula is on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, on the east side of the Pascagoula River. Besides beaches, it is the site of considerable industry with the Ingalls Shipbuilding Company and other operations. Hurricane Katrina's forces were so strong here in 2005 that they even damaged US Navy ships. Jimmy Buffett and Channing Tatum spent at least part of their childhood here.
