Asia > South Asia > Pakistan > Gilgit-Baltistan > Hunza Valley > Sost

Sost is a town in Upper Hunza. It is the last town on the Karakoram Highway in Pakistan. It has a dry port and immigration office, which gives the town a bustling feeling with goods and people coming and going.

By bus

[edit]

Buses to and from Tashkurgan stop in Sost, with the driving time taking roughly 5 hours.

It can be quite a busy and chaotic place, so arrive here with plenty of time before your scheduled departure time and don't be surprised if it leaves late!
