[edit]

The most pleasant way of visiting Pieniny National Park is the Dunajec River Gorge rafting. The rafting season lasts from 1 April till 31 October, and runs every day except for Corpus Christi and the first day of Easter.

Rafts set out from the rafting marina at Sromowce-Kąty, where there is parking, an exhibition pavilion for the Pieniny National Park, Tourist Information Office, souvenir shops, restaurant and ticket offices.

There are two destination points:

  1. Szczawnica – total length: 18 km, taking 2 hours 15 min - cost PLN49 for an adult ticket.
  2. Krościenko - total length: 23 km, taking 2 hours 45 min - cost PLN59 for an adult ticket.

A minibus ticket to return back to Sromowce-Kąty can be bought for an additional PLN9.
