KGF (Kolar Gold Fields) is a town in the Kolar district of Karnataka.

There are regular buses from Bangalore (nearest airport) as well as a train link. KGF is connected to Bangalore via Kolar (NH7 runs from Kolar to Bangalore) by a state highway as well making it a possible drive of about three hours.

One can also take buses from Bangarapet (approximately 15km) (which is a major junction on the Bangalore to Chennai train route).
