Howell is a township of 54,000 people (2021) in Monmouth County in New Jersey.

[edit]Howell is at the intersection of I-195 (exit 28) and US-9.
NJ Transit provides bus transportation from:
- communities along U.S. Route 9 from Lakewood to Old Bridge, and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City via the 131, 135 and 139 bus routes,
- from Newark Liberty International Airport and the rest of Newark on the 67 route,
- from Jersey City on the 64 and 67 routes, and with local service on the 836 route.
Academy Bus Line's route 9 provides service from the Financial District in Lower Manhattan.
Get around
[edit]Howell is mostly suburban with no walkable downtown, so a car is highly recommended.
