Hello, DanCherek! Welcome to Wikivoyage.

To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals.

And thank you for removing duplicate words. Your definitely like enwiki's User:Arjayay. Take care, SHB2000 (talk | contribs | en.wikipedia) 08:43, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcome! DanCherek (talk) 12:25, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any method that you use to find the duplicate words? SHB2000 (talk | contribs | en.wikipedia) 12:37, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@SHB2000: There's a list of common duplications on enwiki at Wikipedia:Lists of common misspellings/Repetitions. You can pick one, enter it into the search bar here (make sure to put " quotes around it), and see what needs to be fixed. Make sure it's not a false positive; for example, the sentence "The illuminations are turned on on November 15" could be better phrased, but it wouldn't make any sense if you deleted one of the duplicated words. Hope that helps. DanCherek (talk) 12:44, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Hi, DanCherek. My goodness, we're a messy bunch aren't we? I've noticed you all over Recent changes and want to thank you for cleaning up our sloppiness and improving the quality of our travel guides. Nelson Ricardo (talk) 01:36, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Nelson Ricardo: Thanks for the message! Happy to do what I can. Of course, I'm doing the easy part — my gratitude goes to you and everyone else for writing these awesome guides. DanCherek (talk) 01:47, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
