[edit]

Libertyville is well-known for car shopping; many Chicagolanders who know nothing else about the town can tell you that it's "a beautiful place in the country," thanks to a car dealer's long-running jingle. The car dealerships are found in a long strip along Milwaukee Avenue.

  • Dover Saddlery, 300 Peterson Rd. (west of Milwaukee Ave.), +1 847-367-9600. Has one of the largest selection of riding-related gear in the Midwest.
