Appearance
Hockenheim is a town of 22,000 people (2021) in Northern Baden-Württemberg. It lies on the Bertha Benz Memorial Route.

[edit]- 1 Hockenheim station. Served by regional trains. This 1980s construction replaced the 19th-century station when the Neubaustrecke was built.
By car
[edit]Autobahn A6 passes just out of town.
Get around
[edit]You'll probably get around on foot. There are buses but they aren't frequent, have few stops in the town and only serve the main street.

- 2 Gartenschaupark. It was created in 1991 to host the State Horticultural Show. With an area of 16 ha, it is Hockenheim's largest park.
- 3 Hockenheim's water tower (Hockenheim). The town's landmark was constructed in 1910 in the Art Nouveau style.
- 4 the Protestant town church. A 1906 Neo-baroque building by architect Hermann Behaghel.
- 5 Catholic Church. Built in 1910 in Art Nouveau style with a high tower, by Johannes Schroth.
