Nyanya is a suburban area in Abuja Municipal Area Council.

Nyanya is a suburban district in the municipal area council. It is an area that connects nearby Nasarawa state to Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. While it is technically in Nasarawa state, it is generally considered as part of the Abuja metropolis, and is fast growing as a residential area for low and medium-income earners. Because of its multicultural neighborhoods, English is most commonly spoken, although Hausa is also spoken in the area.
