Tukuche is a city in Annapurna.

Get in

You will arrive in Tukuche on your 4 to 6 sixth day (depending on your route and speed) while doing the Pokhara to Jomsom Trek (or as a welcome stop on the Annapurna Circuit).

Small place and you can walk from one end to the other in less than 10 minutes.

See 'High Plains Inn' below. They serve Douwe Egberts Coffee and bake their own fresh rolls and cakes. Very tempting - especially after trekking for several ours.

  • High Plains Inn A Dutch-Nepali run Guesthouse that is very comfortable and feels more like a Swiss lodge in the Alps. Very nice rooms, hot showers and very good food. Dutch, English, Nepali, and German spoken. Good, always freshly prepared food is served around a fireplace. Double Room with tiled Bathroom costs 350 Rp. The Dutch owner also organizes trips for Trekking peaks. It is at the northern end. just before you leave town (the first place while coming down from JomsoMm
  • Tukuche Guest House Manar and Samar Thakali are running this beautiful guest house, where you will always find decent rooms and lovely hospitality.

It's an old salt trader's house and oozes character. Rooftop rooms are spotless, have hot showers and great views. Food: try the apple corn bread.
