Kolín is a city in Central Bohemia. It has about 33,000 inhabitants in 2023. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument reservation.

Kolín lies about 47 kilometres (29 mi) east of Prague. The town is located on the Elbe River.

  • The city of Kolín is included in the Prague integrated transport system. 17 PID lines pass through the city. The main point of bus transport is the Cologne railway station.
  • In 2023, there were bus lines with direct connections to the following municipalities: Čáslav, Český Brod, Kouřim , Kutná Hora, Pečky, Poděbrady, Týnec nad Labem, Uhlířské Janovice, Vlašim, Zásmuky, Zruč nad Sázavou, Žiželice.
