Castle Ogrodzieniec

Ogrodzieniec is a historic town in southern Poland, situated north of Kraków in the Ojców mountains. The town is famous for its beautiful castle ruins. The Gothic-Renaissance ruins are the biggest of its kind in Poland.

  • 1 Ogrodzienic Castle. The castle in Ogrodzieniec was built by Casimir the Great in the 14th century and rebuilt as one of the most beautiful Renaissance palazzos in fortezza in Europe.
