  • 1 Furumine Shrine, +81 289-74-2111. Established by monk Shodo Shonin, the Furumine Shrine is dedicated to Prince Yamatotakeru, a mythological hero whose messengers in the form of long-nosed goblins, known as tengu, have been worshipped. In the main building, over 200 masks of tengu are on display. At the large room of the front shrine, there are 2 tengu masks which make up a length of 1.5 meters.
