  • 1 Cloverdale History Center & Museum, 215 N. Cloverdale Blvd, +1 707-894-2067, . Th-Sa 10AM-4PM, Su noon-4PM. The Gothic-Revival house is one of the oldest dwellings in town, and contains the holdings of the Cloverdale Historical Society, Craftsman and Victorian furnishings.
  • River Park, E. First Street (at Crocker Rd). This park features river access and picnic areas.
  • The Cloverdale Historic Murals, 124 S. Cloverdale Blvd (on the north wall of the Sciaini Building). The murals depict early life in the town and were painted by local artists.

  • Cloverdale River Park, 31820 McCray Road (north entrance) (South entrance, which also has parking, is on First Street.), +1 707 433-1625. 7AM to sunset. The park runs along the west bank of the Russian River, with opportunities for walking, fishing, paddling, birdwatching, wildlife viewing, and picnicking. $7 parking fee, if not a regional parks member.
  • Norcal Skydiving, Cloverdale Municipal Airport (take an immediate right at the Cloverdale Airport sign onto Chrome Iron Road), toll-free: +1-888-667-2259. Offers skydiving in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Jumps take place more than two miles up with free-fall at over 120 mph towards the Russian River. The staff is energetic and devoted to making sure the jump will be a lifetime highlight.
  • Porterfield Creek Trails Open Space Preserve (Clover Springs Preserve) (West end of Skyview Drive). A 250-acre property nestled in the hillsides west of downtown Cloverdale, with plenty of hiking and biking opportunities.
  • Russian River Railbikes, toll-free: +1 888 655-8950. A 6 mile self-peddling round trip, going north from Cloverdale, on four-seater railbikes. Seasonal (begins in May).
