Ajegunle is a town in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria. It is located in the Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government area of Lagos.

It's often seen as the slum or ghetto of Lagos State. Ajegunle has a population of about 550,000 residents from many of the ethnic groups in Nigeria.

Ajegunle in the Yoruba language means "A place where riches dwell."

You can get a rented car into this area. Most Uber or Bolt drivers are familiar with this area.

  • December Carnival. Carnivals are held yearly between 24th-31st of December in this town. The carnivals are always lit but you should return home immediately it's getting late because it might get rough.
