Astravyets is a town in Grodno Oblast, Belarus. First mentioned in the 15th century as a small private manor, it has grown to become a lively place with about 8000 inhabitants. There's not that much to see in the town itself, but it can serve as a base for viewing the attractions of nearby villages, including the splendid Gothic Revival church of Gierwiaty and the Baroque heritage of Worniany, Bystryca and Michaliszki.
Gudogaj train station is about 3 km from the town centre.
- 1 Saints Cosmas and Damian Church. Built around 1785, this Catholic church is rather typical of Neoclassical style. Some alterations in the structure remind of the late 19th century when the church was temporarily Orthodox.
