Břeclav ([ˈbr̝ɛtslaf], BRETS-laf) is a town in South Moravia in the Czech Republic.

The Břeclav railway station is an important hub in the railroad network. The town has direct connections with Prague, and Brno in the Czech Republic. A local line connects the town with Znojmo. There are also international connections from Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava, Katowice, Kraków, and Warsaw.
