Towner is a town in the Lakes and Gardens area of North Dakota. It has a population of about 574 people. Elevation is 1,476 feet above sea level.

[edit]Towner describes itself as the "Cattle Capital of North Dakota". The area was first settled in 1884. It was named for a civil war confederate soldier from the area, Oscar Towner.
