Boituva is a city in the state of São Paulo. It's the state's premier parachuting destination and offers also ballooning.

From São Paulo by intercity bus you go to Sorocaba for R$36 (Dec 2021). There you need to change to a regional bus.

Ballooning

The sport of ballooning has been emerging in the city with balloon flights every weekend throughout the year. The Aventurar Ballooning Team promotes tourist balloon flights with take-off from the National Parachuting Center at 6:30 am, flying over from the city, reaching a height of up to 500 meters with a landing near the Sorocaba River, after landing the traditional champagne toast and returning to the meeting point.

Flight time varies from 40 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on weather conditions, the entire adventure from arrival to the meeting point to return from the departure location is approximately 3 hours, at the landing site.

Considered as the National Capital of Civil Skydiving, the city has an enviable climate, which provides excellent conditions for leisure and rural tourism, through its geographic relief and natural conditions coexisting with a high rate of air oxygenation.

  • Piracicaba – 80 km. It's regarded as one of the most pleasant medium-sized cities in the state. Attractions of the city include a charming riverside area, historical heritage and Tyrolese villages. You can do boat trips on the river.
