Boujdour is in Western Sahara.

Boujdour is not a tourist destination. People here live off fishing. But with lots of money from the Moroccan government, sufficient infrastructure has been created to make this town a good choice for spending the night when traveling through Western Sahara.

Get in[edit]

Boujdour lies on the one and only road that connects Agadir with Dakhla and Mauritania. So all buses that go between those places also stop here.

Get around[edit]

The centre is pretty small and it is easy to walk around.

The sunset at the beach or the pretty Stalinist city layout and architecture of government buildings, if that is your cup of tea.

There are lots of restaurants on the main road that serve typical Moroccan food.

Along the main road there are several hotels. Rooms with TV, WiFi and private bathrooms can be had for 150 dirhams.

Go next[edit]

Either north, towards Agadir or south, towards Dakhla and Mauritania.

This city travel guide to Boujdour is an outline and needs more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
