From the bus station, it is walking distance to the center. There are also colectivos (COP$1400).
It is easy to get places on foot.
Buga has a nice historic central plaza with lots of shade trees, home to many iguanas. It's a nice place to eat an ice cream and people watch on hot days (every day).
- Basilica del Señor de los Milagros. A famous church that attracts pilgrims.
- Lighthouse. Buga's location 120 km (70 mi) inland didn't stop them from building a lighthouse here.
- Buga Hostel, Carrera 13 # 4 – 83 (Near the main square). Backpacker hostel/café that brews delicious beer
Cali, the capital of salsa.
San Cipriano, a small Afro-Colombian town near the coast, only accessible by brujita (custom-made motorcycle trains)
Zona Cafetera, scenic coffee-growing region.
