Not to be confused with Chochołów, Łódź Province.

Chochołów is a village in Małopolskie Province in southern Poland, on the border with Slovakia. It has an array of old wooden houses along its main street.

There is no train or bus connection to Chochołów. The nearest stations are in Zakopane.

Most people come to visit Chochołów for its wooden houses dating back to the 19th century. These houses are regarded as great examples of the original architecture in the area.





Nightlife and drinking establishment are basically non-existent in Chochołów. For a night out, the nearest places to go to are Zakopane and Nowy Targ.
