Corquin

Corquin is a rural town in the Copán department in western Honduras.

Corquin is not frequented by travelers. Members of the Peace Corps are the primary foreign visitors to the area.

Get in

Two primary ways to enter the town are by taking a chicken bus from Santa Rosa de Copan or by hitchhiking. Hitchhiking is a common practice in rural Honduran areas.
