Giroussens
Giroussens is in the Tarn department of France.

Giroussens is a village of about 1,500 people. It contains old stones, a broken castle and a ruined house, but there is also a beautiful old town hall and a school for children.

It's possible to come in Giroussens by train, car, bus, plane and taxi. There is a station in Saint Sulpice and an airport in Toulouse 30 minutes away. With a bus, there is many bus stop at Giroussens and appear often. In the city, you can use a bike.

In Giroussens, you see a lot like this old houses beautiful. There is a panoramic view on l'Agout, Saint-Sulpice and Saint-Lieux. You can go to the stadium or city to watch a match of football. You can see beautiful fields of paysans and an old castle "Château d'Enjaux" who dating a long time ago. Also see impressive for children and bees are free so it's very good and fun!

Giroussens propose many activities to do with family or friends like this see and visit a old washhouse. You can visit an old castle which is considered to be very beautiful and educated on the story before, also well children and parents. "Jardins des Martels" is a natural park in Saint-Lieux and Giroussens, you can go in mini train to do a visit the city. There is also "La Céramique" which a old creation for publics, it's open from 10H to 12H and 14H to 18H and with a €3 admission fee. "Les Ruches du Tigou" can see but also visiting for an educated story about bees. It's a very good activity to do with the family!

Eat and Drink[edit]
Giroussens is a small city so there aren't a lot restaurants. However, there are two popular ones:
- "L'Echaugette", which has only takeaway due to COVID-19
- "Le Colvert" near Saint-Lieux.
Both are really delicious.
There is also a bar, "Bar de Girou" near the restaurants and town hall. It's a very good place to have a good time with friends or family.

There are guest houses and hotels. The guest houses are beautiful and create links with a person in a house. For example, with children or a pet. There are 3 hotels in Giroussens "Les Bourdoncles" €82 for a night, "B&B du Couvent" for €79 a night and "Gîte du Café Suquet" €85 for a night. In hotels, pets are accepted and breakfast is served.
