This is the forested jungle region in the southeast of Guinea, populated by several ethnic groups including the Toma and Lissi. It includes all of Nzerekore province.

To visit the forest you must register at the I.R.E.B. (Institute de Récherche Environnementale de Boussou). The visit can also be combined with a hike to the top of mount Nimba.
