Idogo is where (Prof.) Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi (MFR) a popular artist was born. He showed his love for the town on March 23, 2017 with the official commissioning of the new Idogo Police Post.

The traditional ruler of Idogo town, the Onidogo of Igodoland is Oba Saheed Olubiyi.
